Just a little peek into my life as of late...via Instagram.

It's seriously the best thing that's happened to me since I got my iPhone for Christmas!

I'm thankful for sarcastic friends. They keep life from being too boring.

I'm thankful for gel manicures. Oh my goodness. This was my first one and it's the bomb.com.

I am thankful for the $5 car wash. Because my car was NASTY. I did in fact spend, $12 on the super sparkle wash.

I am thankful for an awesome boss! This was my gift for Administrative Assitant Day. Check out those new initials :)

I'm thankful for sushi. And a hubby-to-be and friends who love it just as much. I may or may not have had it TWICE last week!

Lastly, I'm thankful for baby bumps. Especially the one that in particular belongs to my friend Cassie. That's little Sawyer Brooke Burgess there. Can't wait until October 12th when she makes her arrival!

The guests will walk down a cobblestone path which runs beside a small creek.

They'll get to two big trees, surrounded by hundreds of hydrangeas, and walk out into this beautiful clearing.

There's nothing but grass and water.

I'm so excited!

Sweet Neice

My weekend was kicked off by hanging out with mine and Jacob's sweet neice, Corbyn Jayne.

She's beautiful, precious, hilarious, and always making me smile or laugh.

Wedding Wednesday

So, next Friday, I'm going to try on wedding dresses again!!

I'm so stinking excited! The first experience was a bit overwhelming. Wanna know what my problem is? I like absolutely everything. No joke! The only thing about a wedding dress that I know I just do not like is a corset back. Those things are just a waste of time to me. haha

Easter Weekend

Easter Weekend was absolutely wonderful!

Easter is one of my favorite times of year. How blessed I am to serve a risen Savior!!

Good Friday was spent with GREAT friends. We went to Amy & David's to grill out (which turned into us making homemade pizza! haha). Jeselyn, Erica, Dee, Jon, Josh, and Eric also came to hang. It was an awesomely long evening...ending at 4 o'clock in the AM.

Saturday was spent lazing around with my love. That evening, we met up with our friends, Ben and Hannah, to attend two wedding showers. It's always nice seeing old friends and getting to catch up. At one of the showers I got to see lot of my very best friends from high school. That was quite the treat! I wish we could have spent more time with everyone.

Sunday, Jacob and I donned our Easter duds and attended the first ever service at the Willowbrook Hampton Cove campus. There were over 900 people at that location and service alone!! God does work! :)

Jacob and I can't wait to get involved and watch this campus flourish.

The rest of Easter Sunday was spent eating good food and watching Corbyn Jayne hunt Easter eggs for the first time. She's just the most PRECIOUS thing. I'm gonna spoil her to pieces. Promise!

Only 374 days to go until I become Mrs. Jacob Russell!!

I seriously wish it was this weekend.

I'm glad I've got a year to plan my dream wedding, but I'm so excited about starting our life together.

I haven't lived away from home in over 5 years. I'm itching for that independence again.

I'm ready to start cooking. (Yes, even though everyone knows I'm no domestic diva, I'm planning on doing everything in power to become one.) I'm ready to start keeping house.

I'm really ready to register...but that can't happen until at LEAST the fall.

I can't wait to become Anna Russell.

Ahh...hear how great that sounds? :)

I absolutely love these sourdough BLT bites. I'm currently thinking I want everything to be bite sized and finger foods at my reception.

I absolutely love this dress for bridesmaids...I just wish it were a little longer.

Wanting...a new handbag. I have found one...but it's just too much for me to splurge on with an upcoming wedding. For reals.

Wedding Wednesday

Well, my wedding is only 395 more days until I get married!!

I know that seems like a LONG long long long long time, but I'm kinda freaking out just a little bit. haha

I guess I've just been thinking about the specifics a LOT more lately.

And then I begin to think about the guest list, and I completely freak out!

I've already got Granny and Amy working on their lists for their families, people in Kentucky, and people in Albertville. After combining those people with all of my guests, I'm afraid the wedding may get pretty big.

No biggie. It just means we're well loved, right? :)

So, today I am going to spend my free time thinking about ideas and making lists.

I've got a little over a year.

I can totally do this.

Affirmations and Discoveries

This weekend was full of affirmations and discoveries for me.

My weekends are just seeming to get better and better. One right after the other.

I'm not even going to list the things that were discovered or affirmed in seperate lists, because they're all equally wonderful. 

• a filet tastes best when it's cooked at home
• my hubby to be is so much fun to shop with
• he's also super generous (one of his best and most endearing qualities)
• being an aunt gives me so much more joy than I ever thought it would
• a deal makes me happy
• as does warm weather
• there's nothing like good friends...that's irreplaceable (sorry if you're now singing Beyonce for the rest of the day!)
• Sunday afternoons at Gran's are the perfect way to wrap up a weekend

A Bit Different

If I had been a boy, Mom and Dad wanted to name me Richard Anthony. Thank the good Lord above that I was a girl!!

What is your favorite book of all time? Gone with the Wind. I've seriously read it at least 2 dozen times. I may start it again...kindle version. It's soooo wonderfully packed with detail. I honestly feel like I'm living Scarlett O'Hara's life.

If you could have lunch with one celebrity, who would it be and why? Emma Watson. Come on. Who doesn't wanna have lunch with Hermione?

Did you go Greek in college? If so, which house? Negative. Thank goodness.

Do you prefer to make a phone call or send a text? Text. I loathe talking on the phone. It seems like such a chore to me. Weird?

What is your favorite flower? hydrangeas and peonies

Did you have an American Girl doll as a child? Oh my goodness. If I had to sum up my childhood in two words, they'd be, 'American Girl.' I have Addy, Josephina, Felicity, and Kit. If it weren't a ridiculous notion, I'd still get one every year for Christmas. No joke.

What is your favorite white wine and favorite red wine varietal? Let me just go ahead and get this out there...I love wine. I know nothing about wine. I like both red and white. Wine is Wine. Wine=good.

What is your favorite quote? It's a Bible verse...An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips.
