Photos from the Day Before

It is always so much fun getting the tree decorated at work! I know we still haven't celebrated Thanksgiving yet, but doing the Christmas tree before we leave means we'll have a festive atmosphere when we return from Thanksgiving.

I liked my blinged out cross. Jacob said it made me look gangsta.

Delana brought us sweet treats at lunch. I love the chicks, ducks, and bunnies around Easter, so I was ecstatic about the Merry Mix!

My view at 4:30. It was a rainy one yesterday afternoon.

Sweet sweet boy. He's only shirtless because I was scratching his back while we watched Terra Nova. He believes it is more effective when his shirt is off.

I've started reading the Calder series again.

Yesterday in Pictures

We started decorating the Christmas tree at work. I'm so very excited about Christmas. I've just got two or three more things on my list to get!!

Jacob and I had a mini date last night. We went Christmas shopping, had dinner at Zaxby's (you can see what I had for supper!), and then we went to see Immortals. Can I just say...it was AWESOME! I absolutely loved it. I'm into the whole mythology thing though. It was right up my ally.

I included the picture of Jacob's beard for two reasons:

a.) because I loved his new mint green shirt!

b.) because his beard has become a bit of a legend. That's how everyone recognizes him. That's the first thing people always comment on. And I may or may not love scratching it!

breakfast- Mt. Dew

lunch- sandwich (turkey pepperonis, 2 slices of whole wheat bread, 1 slice of Colby Jack cheese), 1/2  a can of coca cola classic, handful of black pepper chips

dinner-*Had Newk's with Jacob and Wilson* 3 slices of pizza (sausage and pepperoni), Sprite w/ lemon

Wednesday, November 17th...

breakfast- water

lunch- *We had Cracker Barrel before court* water w/ lemon, potato soup, cornbread, hashbrown casserole, mac & cheese

afternoon delight- coca cola classic

dinner- *We went to Rosie's for Uncle Scott's birthday* chips, salsa, and cheese dip, water w/ lemon, quesadilla (cheese & onions), rice

Tuesday, November 15th...

breakfast- 1/2 a can of coca cola classic, Crunch bar

lunch- sandwich (toasted bagel, cheddar cheese, turkey, lettuce), greek pasta, water

dinner- water, waffle, biscuit, 2 slices of bacon, hashbrowns, 2 eggs (scrambled)

Monday, November 14th...

breakfast- water, handful of parmesan pretzel chips

lunch- sandwich (two slices of wheat bread, turkey pepperonis, one slice of colby jack cheese), hadful of sour cream & cheddar potato chips, water

dinner- coca cola classic, 3 slices of pizza (pepperoni, onions, and sausage)

dessert- chocolate pudding cup

Heading Home

This weekend was well worth the four hour (made seven hour because of Atlanta traffic) trip to Athens, Georgia even if we got completely slaughtered by the Dawns. We got to visit with Jake and Anna, Ben and Hannah, and all the Williams clan.  Moods were lifted last night shortly after Auburn's loss with a trip to the local haunt, JR's.  After a midnight trip to Pita Pit, we were all feeling pretty good. Jacob and I headed back home early this morning. I'll be enjoying the above view for the next three hours...dreaming of my comfy bed and completing our to do list for Christmas gifts.

Wednesday, November 9th...

breakfast- water, mini Milky way

lunch- *We had Papa Dubi's before court* cajun rice, hushpuppies, fries, water w/ lemon

dinner- meatloaf, mashed potatoes, coca cola classic, rice (broccoli & cheese), roll

dessert- peach popsicle

Here's what I ate yesterday, Tuesday, November 8th...

breakfast- water, 2 mini blueberry tarts

lunch- Mt. Dew, cup of broccoli cheese soup, sandwich (small rosemary parmesan bread, pepperonis, cheese, onions, red wine vinagrette)

dinner- cheeseburger w/ onions only, a few fries, sprite

Monday, November 7th...

breakfast- water, mini Milky Way

lunch- Quizno's sandwich (rosemary parmesan bread, red wine vinagrette, pepperonis, onions, cheese), bbq chips, water

dinner- 2 slices of cheese pizza, Mt. Dew

dessert- chocolate pudding cup

Thursday, November 3rd was Delana's birthday. Unfortunately for me, there were lots of treats at work!!

breakfast- water, 1/2 a red velvet cupcake

lunch- 1/2 a cheeseburger (mustard only), fries, water

afternoon delight- slice of toffee cake my Gran made me :)

dinner- mac & cheese, beans & weanies, water

Wednesday, November 2nd...was a very hectic day (court) followed by a very nice evening!

breakfast- 1/2 a can of coca cola classic, 1 slice of butter rum cake, 1 slice of cinnimon cake (They're small skinny pound cake slices...I swear!! haha)

lunch- *we at Tin Top before court* Sprite, hotdog w/ cheese, tater tots

dinner- chicken gumbo, water

Well...let's get back at it...Tuesday, November 1st...

breakfast- water, 2 sugar cookies

lunch- cheese tortellini soup, water, handful of cheese puffs, small slice of butter rum cake

afternoon delight- Sprite, sugar cookie

dinner- *we ate El Olmeca for Granny's birthday* Sprite, quesadilla (cheese and onions), chips & salsa, rice
